First Livestock Data Platform Becomes Ag Data Transparent

May 19, 2018

MyDairyDashboard has become the first livestock data company to earn the Ag Data Transparent seal of approval.

Row crop farmers have dominated the ag data discussion for the past few years, but meanwhile, a quiet data revolution was occurring on livestock farms. For example, the amount of data that is collected on a modern-day dairy farm is astounding--genetic, feed, nutrition, water consumption, animal movement, and production data are just a few of the streams coming off the farm. Modern swine and poultry farms are not much different, with the ability to monitor animals at all hours of the day. Analyzing this data has tremendous potential to increase production.

Congrats to MyDairyDashboard for becoming the first livestock data company to become Ag Data Transparent. You can read MyDairyDashboard's evaluation on the Ag Data Transparent website.
