New Watchdog Field Measuring Equipment Coming from Spectrum Technologies

Mike Thurow, president and CEO of Spectrum Technologies, introduces the company's new addition to its Watchdog field measuring equipment. The platform of measurement technology expands on the Watchdog capabilities for capturing weather and soil moisture data in the field. Individual sensing units will have the capability, using sensors, to detect soil moisture and leaf wetness, and wirelessly forward data every 5 minutes through a retriever unit call SpecConnect. This allows growers to monitor moisture in the field in real-time, 24 hours a day.
