Bear Flag Robotics, a California-based startup, develops autonomous driving technology compatible with existing tractors. Deere & Company recently acquired Bear Flag — a partnership that Bear Flag CEO and co-founder Igino Cafiero says was a natural extension of the companies’ previous work together.

Bear Flag had been working with Deere since 2019 as part of Deere’s startup collaborator program, an initiative focused on working with startups with technology that could add value for Deere’s customers.
