Farm equipment automation is on the minds of everyone in the industry, and it’s impossible to ignore the impact the emerging technology will have on the machinery and precision support sectors. The Precision Farming Dealer Benchmark study showed 43% of dealers agree autonomous vehicles will be an area of revenue growth within 3 years. Commercialization of autonomous systems is fast approaching and the recent momentum in the ag industry suggests unmanned implements will soon be found on farmers’ fields.

Cheap, reliable labor will be a strong selling point as farmers are challenged to find and retain permanent employees. This session, and the panel discussion that follows it, will reveal what dealers must do to prepare for the inevitable – a great opportunity if they are prepared.
