An annual conference sponsored in part by the Kansas Ag Research and Technology Association will be held in January in Salina and include presentations on drones and thermal imagery, according to information from the group.

KARTA and K-State Research and Extension are sponsoring the 18th Annual Kansas Agricultural Technologies Conference Jan. 22-23, 2015.

The conference is a place for agricultural producers and others involved in the industry to learn more about precision agriculture and other technological advances in the industry.

Registration costs range from $50 for students to $225, with discounts for early registration and for KARTA members.
