As of May 4, 2015, Allison Bass joined the Topcon Precision Agriculture business unit as Channel Marketing Manager. Bass brings a wealth of ag marketing experience having spent the last 17 years at AGCO, where for many years she managed the marketing for the Challenger brand in North America along with AGCO Technology Solutions (ATS).
These responsibilities included the launch of the Topcon System 150 and 350 on AGCO products. Prior to joining AGCO, Bass worked in several Atlanta-area advertising agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a specialty in advertising from the University of Georgia.
Bass succeeds Joe Robertson, who announced his retirement effective May 1, 2015.
Bass will begin work remotely from Alpharetta, Ga., for with plans to relocate to the company's Livermore, Calif. location in the future.
