OLATHE, Kan., January 23, 2013 — Kurtis Kenne has been named the global field test manager for Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA). In this new position, Kenne will report to Kevin Cobb, director of TPA product management.
Kenne, who earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Iowa State University, will manage a product management led initiative to optimize TPA's field-testing process.
Cobb said, "Kurtis’s education and experience is a perfect fit for this new TPA position. In this role Kurtis will help provide an increased focus on our field testing, engineering feedback, debugging, and release process. This additional resource will enable us to work more efficiently through the entire product development phase, providing our customers rock solid products in an even more time-efficient manner."
In addition to managing TPA product testing at the company's three global field test locations, Kenne will closely coordinate with OEM's, aftermarket dealers and beta site partners to "optimize available test resources, while expediting the field-testing processes," Cobb said.

In his previous positions, Kenne has worked as development test team leader for Deere and Company and Panasonic Avionics Corporation.
