Steve Larocque, a director and agricultural advisor for Clean Seed Capital Group has been invited to the Climate Conference of Farmers in Paris, France, to debate precision agriculture’s role in food security and climate change.
The conference is a precursor to the United Nations COP21 climate change talks in December attracting 50,000 participants including 25,000 official delegates from government, intergovernmental organizations, UN agencies, NGOs and civil society.
As a farmer and international farm consultant, Steve is constantly testing and implementing new precision agriculture tools and techniques. Steve specializes in building resilient farming systems that are capable of mitigating the extreme effects of climate variability.
“I’m honored to part of the event and I look forward to exchanging ideas with farmers on new ways to apply precision methods in agriculture.” says Steve.
