RACINE, Wis. — Case IH announced that now through the AFS Connect program, customers who purchase a new Axial-Flow combine, Steiger tractor or Magnum tractor by April 30, 2016, at participating Case IH dealerships will be eligible for a free 1-year subscription to AFS Connect, including hardware installation.

“As producers take to the field this spring, we’re excited to give them the opportunity to try free AFS Connect,” said Leo Bose, Case IH Advanced Farming Systems (AFS) manager. “AFS Connect gives operators instant access to real-time data, helping them manage their entire fleet from a remote location. With instant access to location, diagnostics, fuel and engine stats, they’ll be armed with valuable decision-making tools to help increase efficiency and turn potential into profit.”

Producers who participate in the free AFS Connect program also can add one of these new features to their subscription:

• Cellular Guidance (NTRIP): Tapping into CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global System for Mobile) networks, producers gain access to 180 carriers across North America. This coverage gives a more reliable guidance signal and sub-inch accuracy for precise farming practices.
• Two-way file transfer: Producers can transport AFS data such as yield maps, prescriptions or guidance lines wirelessly to their home office or trusted advisor.

AFS Connect offers a comprehensive suite of fleet management and machine monitoring that provide long-distance, real-time control. From yield mapping to machine performance data and custom alerts, AFS Connect gives producers on-the-go access to the machines in their fleet.
