Agrible has announced that Morning Farm Report, its suite of predictive analytics tools, has been certified to receive an Ag Data Transparent seal backed by the American Farm Bureau Federation and the National Farmers Union.
The seal confirms that Agrible’s ag data contract is both transparent and simple, and that growers can be confident that Agrible is trustworthy and upfront about data ownership and usage.
To receive the seal, companies must successfully complete the Ag Data Transparency Evaluator process, an evaluation designed by a non-profit corporation of farm industry groups, commodity organizations and ag technology providers. After the evaluation passes a review by an independent third-party administrator, the results are posted publicly to the Ag Data Transparency website.
“Preserving a grower’s right to privacy and data ownership has always been part of Agrible’s core beliefs,” said Ken Dallmier, Senior VP of Strategic Partnerships at Agrible. “Being one of the first companies to receive this seal shows that we are leaders in this industry and our commitment is always to the grower first.”
Morning Farm Report is a suite of predictive analytics tools that helps growers make the best decisions on their fields by translating the highest-resolution data available into actionable recommendations. With minimal input from the grower, Morning Farm Report delivers field-specific data and forecasts on yield, nutrients, pests, fieldwork recommendations, rainfall, crop health, and more.
Agrible recently released Morning Farm Report 2016, which added new tools like Advanced Nutrient Engine, a nutrient forecasting tool; Spray Smart, field-specific condition forecasts to help plan safe spraying operations; and Hail Alerts, a revolutionary view of hail probability, event duration, and hail size. Each new tool is designed to help growers make the best decisions to be more productive and sustainable.
