Tech Specs: The Veris iScan soil mapping platform helps farmers and their advisors precisely map and manage soil variability while performing other field operations like tillage and planting. The system features 2 soil sensor modules that map soil organic matter below the soil surface and soil texture variability to a depth of 2 feet. This new platform deploys proven optical and electrical sensing components in a flexible format that allows for immediate visualization and decision making. It significantly expands mapping capabilities and reduces the cost of data collection, which will allow these foundational data layers to reach more fields and more precision ag programs.

Farmers and advisors can now collect high definition EC (soil texture) and organic maps to be used with variable-rate prescriptions for seeding, nitrogen (N) and other inputs — all while performing tillage, planting or other field operations.
