Central Valley Ag is also investing in more mobility with its services, developing its own seed app, which sales agronomists are utilizing in the field and also switching over its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system to Merchant Ag. “We're looking at a fully integrated system, into our ground control, our central dispatch system and into our ERP system,” says Karl Hensley, senior vice president of agronomy. “Our field sales agronomists will work with a customer on the farm, start making those recommendations, and it will be implemented right there at the farm.”
