The Grower Division of Lessiter Media (the parent company of Farm Equipment and Precision Farming Dealer properties) has announced the availability of a first-ever farmer scholarship program, available for the 30th Annual National No-Tillage Conference on Louisville on Jan. 4-7.

The Southern Region of Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SSARE) has provided a grant to be used for farmer scholarships at the 2022 event. These farmer scholarships are being offered to first-time attendees to the Conference from the Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Puerto Rico. Priority will be given to beginning and underserved farmers from these states.

The scholarship covers farmers’ full registration fee of $449 for the four-day event, held at the Galt House in downtown Louisville. Dealers are encouraged to share this site with farm customers www.no-tillfarmer.com/NNTCscholarship, for a brief qualification step. Applicants will be processed and notified on a first-come, first-served basis.

Louisville is also the location of the Annual Precision Farming Dealer Summit, which starts January 3 and concludes on Jan. 4, just prior to the opening of the National No-Tillage Conference.
