Corn Field Planted with Soccer Legend’s Face
We’ve heard of honoring an idol with a painting, statue or maybe even a tattoo, but a corn field? Weeks after leading Argentina to its first world cup since 1986, Lionel Messi’s face can now be seen from the heavens on a field in Cordoba, Argentina. “Messi is unbeatable…Now they are world champions, I am delighted this can be expressed by planting the crop,” says Maximiliano Spinazze, the farmer who planted the crop formation of Messi’s face using an algorithm that calculated where the seeds needed to go to create the image.
Blog: Ag Data Owners Are Not the Problem
Nathan Faleide tackles the issue of data ownership in the latest edition of Easy Observations in Agriculture. “If you are helping the greater good for the producers and the ones that support them, then you should be fine,” Faleide says. “If it is apparent that you are not, then maybe get ready or change your tune.” Nathan provides great perspective in this one and at the very least you’ll want to give it a click for the spectacular memes.

RCFarmArm’s new GPS-controlled steering system for grain bagging tractors was on display at Manitoba Ag Days last week. RealAg Machinery Insider covers the nuts and bolts of the groundbreaking product in this article/video. “It’s the industry’s first steering system designed specifically for grain bagging,” says RCFarmArm owner Vincent Pawluski.
