Which Tasks Do Farmers Want Automated First?
The Farm Progress PANEL gives farmers a chance to share their thoughts on key issues. This week’s PANEL question attempted to gauge the current interest level in autonomy. Farmers were asked to pick which tasks they’d like automated first. Options included stacking/arranging bales, spraying, mowing and tilling. Spraying was the number one answer with 45% of respondents interested in driverless spraying.
