New Holland dealer Swiderski Equipment is holding an Ag Technology Exploration Day at its Mosinee, Wis., location on Sept. 27 for high school and technical college students. Attendees will have a chance to operate autonomous equipment, see how corn seed can be planted precisely such that the farmer knows the exact depth, spacing and moisture level of the soil from in the tractor.
Mosinee High School FFA will also be receiving their very own GPS simulator, provided by New Holland, Raven Industries and Swiderski Equipment, at 9 a.m. to open the event. The school's FFA chapter was selected as 1 of 5 chapters from across the country to receive a state-of-the-art tractor simulator that will allow students to learn more about GPS technology in equipment within their own classroom.
