Precision Technician Launches “Day in the Life” Video Series
No 2 days are the same for precision technicians, especially during busy season. Travis Hodgin is giving the world a peak behind the curtain with a new “Day in the Life of Precision Ag” video series on YouTube. “I’m a precision farming technician that wants to show what goes on in a day for me,” he says. “There’s something new every day and that’s what makes the job exciting. There is such a big gap between the producer and the technology, and I would like to try and narrow that gap.” Check out the premiere episode!
Solinftec CEO Shares “Living in the Field” Approach to Precision Ag
Solinftec CEO Britaldo Hernandez is convinced we’ve reached the point where AI is on the verge of becoming a major input in agriculture. “When Solix (solar powered, autonomous robot) was designed, we thought of a multi-purpose robotic platform where an AI would be tasked with tracking the biological cycles and the applications would go from anticipating the problem to correcting it in its early stages,” Hernandez writes in this LinkedIn post. “This is what we call ‘living in the field.”
