World Agri-Tech Takeaway: Companies Betting Big on AI
Executives from various Ag Tech companies discussed the future of AI during a panel discussion at the 2024 World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco last week. Elliot Grant, CEO of Mineral, which is Google’s ag tech brand, believes generative AI has the potential to fundamentally change farming. “There’s an opportunity for a paradigm shift in agriculture, enabled by generative AI,” he said. “We’ll have farm equipment that’s in the field continuously, always learning.” Andy Castillo recaps the session in this FarmProgress article.

Precision Dealer Supplies Tractors to Student Farm
John Deere dealer P&K Equipment, featured in the most recent Precision Farming Dealer Day in the Cab series, is lending a helping hand to the Oklahoma State University Student Farm on its mission to feed the community. On Feb. 26, the company delivered two tractors for operational use at no cost to the farm.
