The North Iowa Area Community College Foundation has received a $2,000 Working Here Fund grant to help cover the cost of faculty earning advanced credentialing in precision agriculture.
The grant is provided through Farm Credit Services of America’s (FCSAmerica) Working Here Fund.
Credentialing can take up to a semester to complete. Once credentialed, faculty members will be in a better position to teach additional courses or provide the most up-to-date information in existing classes.
NIACC is one of 25 organizations to receive a Working Here Fund grant.
