The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) appointed Andrew Olliver, former AEF Vice Chairman and Global Precision Technology Partner Manager for CNH Industrial to serve as its new Chairman.
If you have been following along throughout this series, we imagine you have learned quite a bit about how current ISOBUS technology is helping the agricultural community. And if this is the first article you are reading about ISOBUS, here is a quick summary of what we have been covering through our educational series over the past few months.
Plugfest provides a chance for friends and competitors alike to come from around the globe to put aside that competition to work together for the good of their employers and customers.
Every day, farm tractors and implements are connected together and the electrical connectors are engaged. In the cab, the terminal comes alive with information about all the connected systems. Very interesting technology, but how does it all happen?
Engineers with 68 different ISOBUS components — from virtual terminals to a programmable tractor chair — were scattered across nearly 35 tables during the 3-day Agricultural Electronics Foundation (AEF) Plugfest, May 7-9 in Lincoln, Neb.
At the 2019 Plugfest event in Lincoln, Neb., Andrew Olliver with the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) shares some recent and upcoming improvements to the organization's ongoing efforts to improve ag equipment compatibility through conformance testing and databasing of ISOBUS certified machinery.
Along with providing opportunities for testing, AEF fosters educational lectures and panels, designed to promote informational bridges and greater communal efforts in the world of agriculture.
Helping ag industry professionals improve their knowledge of ISOBUS compatibility between tractors and implements is the goal of the AEF Conference Day May 10 from the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF).
David Smart, manager of systems engineering with John Deere, discusses the ongoing goals of the Agricultural Electronics Foundation's working group to develop a high-speed ISOBUS platform to increase bandwidth for plug-and-play connections of farm machinery.
Returning for a third time to the Agricultural Electronics Foundation’s (AEF) annual North American Plugfest event in Lincoln, Neb., I again marveled at the intensity of the dozens of engineers as they hustled from station to station in search of enhanced equipment compatibility.
Verdant Robotics showed off its new Sharpshooter at the FIRA Conference a few weeks ago. Dubbed the only robotic precision application system that aims before it shoots, Sharpshooter uses Bullseye Aim & Apply Technology.
