Taking the top spot this month was a news item on Great Plains Ag’s commitment to continuous improvement, including the implementation a new product development system. In the second spot was a new item on Farmobile’s agreement to acquire the assets of Prime Meridian, a precision agriculture data management company. And rounding out the top three was our editors’ takeaways from InfoAg2018 in St. Louis, Mo.

Claiming the top spot this month is a guest blog from Todd Janzen on the Deere lawsuit against AGCO and Precision Planing, which is all about planter speed technology. News of the lawsuit also took the number two spot for June. And rounding out the top three was Deere’s announcement of several updates to its grain harvesting solutions for 2019 to its S-Series Combines.

Topping the list this month was news of Farmers Edge's release of a comprehensive R&D roadmap. May was also popular month for topics related to data, with a late April blog on commercializing data landing on the top viewed list for May and a guest blog on GDPR and it's relation to North American ag platforms rounding out the list. 

Topping the list this month were two “From the Virtual Terminal” items, one on the new-to-North America diesel-electric farm tractor that will be available for sale in the last quarter of 2018 and another on the news of the potential mega-merger between Bayer and Monsanto and how that is heightening the debate over how farm data is collected and manipulated by companies.

Autonomy was a popular topic this month, with Editor Jack Zemlicka covering the topic in the Virtual Terminal, a video detailing Case IH's next steps with autonomy and the latest Precision Farming Dealer podcast expounding on perception versus reality of autonomy in ag.
