The National Agricultural Aviation Association has launched a UAV safety campaign to raise awareness and prevent accidents between UAV operators and low-altitude manned aircraft.

Brian Wynne has been named president and CEO of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), succeeding the retiring Michael Toscano on Jan. 12, 2015.

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) joined 31 other organizations today to send a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) encouraging the agency to expedite the rulemaking process for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations in the U.S. airspace.
