FarmersEdge announced an agreement with BlackBridge today to expand their use of RapidEye high-resolution satellite imagery. This long-term contract grants Farmers Edge access to historical and cropping season imagery to North America, South America, Australia, and Eastern Europe.
BlackBridge’s Monitoring Programs for Agriculture are unique in the market, providing newly collected and archived five-meter RapidEye satellite imagery across all major North American agricultural areas and other regions of the world multiple times throughout the growing season.
Following its previously announced commitment to provide continuity to the existing RapidEye satellite constellation, BlackBridge released the details of the RapidEye+ constellation concept at its ENABLE 2014 Partner Conference.
