The system enables customers to use applications, including AutoTrac, documentation and section control, in a portable display that has the latest internal components, design and user interface.

Earlier this month, John Deere announced its collaboration with California-based Agrian to deliver the company’s Prescription Creator platform. Starting this spring, the software will allow farmers to import, track and manage seeding and fertilizer prescriptions through Deere’s online Operations Center portal.

The new software allows growers to reduce reliance on desktop software and eventually adopt one system for farm data management. It will also more seamlessly connect in-cab monitoring to displays.

The collaboration will allow users the ability to seamlessly transfer data and field prescriptions between their FARMserver account and John Deere equipment.
