Farmers Edge announced a major upgrade of its digital platform, FarmCommand, sporting a new user experience that makes it simpler to use and easier to manage critical farm information. The company also announced the addition of a new equipment management solution, Smart Cab, to its line of digital tools.
By the end of 2021, the companies will integrate their digital platforms to provide their growers and dealer networks with a first-of-its-kind, fully connected crop management solution. The expanded partnership will also focus on a collaboration in data science, machine learning, and AI-driven analytics to deliver highly precise water-based insights and predictive models.
AGCO customers will be able to connect to the Climate FieldView platform through FieldView Drive device, AGCO’s Precision Planting 20/20 SeedSense Display, or through application program interfaces (APIs) beginning late 2017.
Verdant Robotics showed off its new Sharpshooter at the FIRA Conference a few weeks ago. Dubbed the only robotic precision application system that aims before it shoots, Sharpshooter uses Bullseye Aim & Apply Technology.
