J.Assy introduced its new Selenium vacuum seed meter, which has kits for soybeans and sorghum. The company is partnering with planter row unit manufacturer Harvest International for production.

Matt Strine from Aerovironment was demonstrating their new Quantix at the 2018 Farm Progress show. This purpose build aerial vehicle is capable of raising vertically 150ft. and transition to horizontal where it can climb to heights of 360ft. allowing it to capture approximately 10 acres per minute.

Chris Carleton, OEM Account Manager for Topcon Agriculture introduces the new tillage depth control system. Allowing a tillage implement to be automated and controlled, the new system, powered by Norac, the depth control system will allow growers to maintain the correct depth without having to make adjustments on the fly while in the field.

Product Manager Matt Grove with IntelligentAg Solutions shared their new Recon SpreadSense, the industry’s first blockage monitor for floaters. Shown at the 2018 Farm Progress show in Boone, IA, this machine utilizes the same acoustic technology developed for other Recon monitoring systems, providing reliable real-time blockage detection.
