Raven Industries (NASDAQ:RAVN) isn’t wasting any time in getting its recently announced strategic plan to invest in autonomous farming technology off the ground. The company announced that is has acquired Smart Ag Inc., a technology company that develops autonomous farming solutions for agriculture.
The startup’s technology aims to help farmers lower operational costs and increase yields, as well as get around the labor shortages rife in the agriculture industry, Igino Cafiero, CEO told AgFunderNews.
Verdant Robotics showed off its new Sharpshooter at the FIRA Conference a few weeks ago. Dubbed the only robotic precision application system that aims before it shoots, Sharpshooter uses Bullseye Aim & Apply Technology.

Offering training on Ag Leader, Trimble, Reichhardt, Norac and Integris Systems in twice yearly customer training events (spring/fall). Also offering individual training opportunities on any HTS Ag products and SMS software, year round.
