BROOKFIELD, Wis. — August 5, 2021
The 2021 Dealership Minds Summit welcomed back farm equipment dealers from across the United States for the 7th annual gathering of the brightest minds in the industry.
Centered on the theme “Developing Your Homegrown Talent,” the program featured 2-days of dealer-to-dealer roundtables sessions, panel presentations, general sessions and intense networking opportunities.
Farm Equipment executive editor Kim Schmidt noted during opening remarks that attendees would head home with actionable ideas to navigate through different approaches to developing and retaining future leaders, and based on feedback she received from those in attendance, the Dealership Minds Summit delivered.
“A consistent theme that I’ve heard from attendees during the last two days is that through the informative sessions, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, they learned new employee development strategies they feel confident in implementing when they get back to the office. I was very pleased to see, and be part of, many thought provoking and idea-sharing conversations over the last two days,” says Schmidt.
Among the highlights of the 2021 Dealership Minds Summit was a presentation on how to identify and prepare your next generation of leaders, and a dealer-to-dealer panel that looked at development programs run by executive leadership.
Also announced at the Dealership Minds Summit was the return of the in-person Precision Farming Dealer Summit, which will be held Jan. 3-4, 2021, at the Galt House in Louisville, Ky.
From the single-location independent retailer to the multi-store farm equipment dealer, intense knowledge sharing and networking were in abundance throughout the Dealership Minds Summit.
