The 8th Annual Precision Farming Dealer Summit, held at the Hyatt Regency at The Arch in St. Louis, Mo., on January 9-10, 2023, drew a sold-out crowd of 201 attendees, including 70 different dealerships from across the United States, Canada and Australia.


Centered on the theme “Charting the Next Course for Precision Success,” the program featured 2-days of dealer-to-dealer roundtable discussions, panel presentations, general sessions and intense networking opportunities.

AgvisorPro CEO Robert Saik kicked things off with an electric presentation on potential dealer opportunities in the technology convergence. 

Attendees participated in 12 roundtable discussions, covering a variety of topics including the evolving role of a precision specialist. 

Autonomy was a hot topic throughout the 2-day event. Spud Armstrong and Chuck Baresich explored the future of autonomous machinery in agriculture during a classroom session with executive editor Kim Schmidt.

AGCO's Seth Crawford, Case IH's Kendal Quandahl and John Deere's Matt Olsen shared the stage for a discussion about their precision vision. The company leaders jumped at the chance to address elite precision dealers about their strategic direction for business, outlook on autonomy and the approaches embraced by the best-performing dealers in their networks. 

Keith Wendte and Jim Leverich provided a farmer's perspective during a "What Farmers Want From You" Q&A session. 

LandPro Equipment was presented with the Most Valuable Dealership award, before taking the stage with former MVDs for a panel discussion about award-winning practices. 

Linco-Precision's Skip Klinefelter closed out the conference with a bang, sharing keys to success when it comes to expanding your company's footprint.
