Reuters has the scoop on a Thai rice farmer using GPS coordinates to plant seeds at various spots in the field to depict cartoon cats. Tanyapong Jaikham expects tens of thousands of tourists to check out the art in his rice fields. “Previously, rice was mainly considered for consumption,” he says. “This approach allows us to develop tourism and agriculture simultaneously.”
