Stephanie Seay is a senior science writer and communications specialist in the ORNL Communications and Community Engagement organization, supporting the Biological and Environmental Systems Science Directorate (BESSD).

She researches, writes and edits press releases, feature stories, researcher profiles, story tips, blog posts, video scripts, social media, web content and more to promote scientific literacy and elevate the groundbreaking research of ORNL's scientists to external and internal audiences. Stephanie also works closely with leadership and staff to develop congressional testimonies, white papers, fact sheets, newsletters and similar materials to support the lab's relationships with sponsors, collaborators, and other constituents.

She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the University Research Magazine Association.
