This position will have multi-title responsibilities to include developing, writing and production of print and online content for Farm Equipment, Precision Farming Dealer, No-Till Farmer, Strip-Till Farmer and Rural Lifestyle Dealer. Regular writing assignments, copyediting and proofing of various written materials for ag publications are required, along with posting content online, social media engagement relevant to ag titles, video production and willingness to travel.
Looking for a thought leader who constantly seeks out industry trends and information. Must have an appreciation for agriculture and be able to gather and analyze all available information and tell a story on how it will benefit the readership, not just report on the facts.
A college degree in journalism or related field is required as well as a strong understanding of professional publishing business, developed through at least 2-3 years experience in the industry. Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and make sound decisions under pressure. Travel required covering various equipment and agricultural shows, industry meetings and farmer visits.
