The 8th Annual Precision Farming Dealer Summit, held at the Hyatt Regency at The Arch in St. Louis, Mo., on January 9-10, 2023, drew a record crowd of 201 attendees, including 70 different dealerships from across the United States, Canada and Australia.
Centered on the theme “Charting the Next Course for Precision Success,” the program featured 2-days of dealer-to-dealer roundtable discussions, panel presentations, general sessions and intense networking opportunities.
Precision Farming Dealer executive editor Kim Schmidt noted during remarks that attendees cited the short- and long-term value they draw from Summit discussions and exchanges with precision dealers of different sizes and locations.
“A consistent theme that I heard from attendees during the Summit is that through the informative sessions, roundtable discussions, extensive networking opportunities and diversity of dealers in attendance, is taking home even one concept or idea can be a game changer for a dealerships' precision business, whether it's how to find and retain new precision employees, how others are starting to work autonomy into their business, or the best way to structure a service package,” says Schmidt.
Among the highlights of the 2023 Precision Farming Dealer Summit was the return of the OEM Panel featuring precision executives from AGCO, Case IH and John Deere, and all-new classrooms that gave attendees the option between two knowledge-packed sessions featuring an array of experts on emerging precision products and technologies.
Also announced at the Precision Farming Dealer Summit was the return of the Dealership Minds Summit, which will be held August 1-2, 2023, at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Bloomington, Ill.
From the single-location independent retailer to the multi-store farm equipment dealer, the precision manager to the technology specialist, intense knowledge sharing and networking were in abundance throughout the 2023 Precision Farming Dealer Summit.
